Some of the successful programs LES has implemented include › Small Business Development Training › Apprenticeship Training Programs in Sheet Metal, Masonry, Carpentry trades. The job placement ratio was 97% › Community Panty – Feeding the hungry in Hollywood, Broward and northern Dade County › Youth Enterprise Projects- A program for at risk youth between the ages of 15-21 which provides training in various vocational skill areas while providing academic assistance. › On Tract- A highly successful program which targets youth who have a history of school › Partnerships with other organizations such as the Department of Children and Family Services at all LES locations to provide computer access for economic sufficiency programs › LES has been the primary partner/developer with the City of Hollywood Florida to redevelop the Liberia area › LES conducts streetscape landscaping and improvements LES Corporation strength lies in the commitment and caliber of its staff, volunteers, Board and partners. LES receives tremendous support from the community and elected officials. LES has a very low overhead with very few employees it does a tremendous amount. It employs 3 full-time and 6 part-time staff.
